Brian's interest in biology began after he lost a close friend to cancer in high school. His commitment deepened when cancer later affected both of his parents.
At the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, he trained in the laboratory of renowned researcher Dr. Paul Talalay and worked alongside leading scientists studying cancer prevention and plant-based compounds.
That foundation shaped a career devoted to translating promising science into research, products and information people can actually use.

Brian's work has crossed academic research, translational science and private industry. His responsibilities have included building research infrastructure, designing laboratory and human studies, evaluating nutritional formulations and explaining complex findings to professionals and consumers.
